The question is not about rating. Prayer is as important as the word of God. There are things you will never get unless you ask. When we pray we ask for things which are beyond our capacity to provide, so we ask of him who is powerful enough to provide them. But the word of God helps us to truly understand our responsibilities and how we have to go about carrying out these responsibilities.
Therefore, the word of God is the sword of the spirit for us because it helps to equip us with good understanding with which we can use to react against the wiles (strategies) of the devil. When we pray it God who answers, not us. So what prayer does for us is quite different from what the written word of God does for us, but they both important without one taking precedence over another.
I am not contending with the Power of Prayer. I am only making you realize that the world were formed by the “WORD” not prayers. Prayer is very powerful but we pray with the “WORDS”. Prayer without the Word will never be as effective. You can research this from scriptures… How did Jesus defeat Satan when he came to him in Matthew 4… Was it with Prayer… No… It was with the “WORD”, He kept saying “It is Written”… I hope you understand now…

Because the word of God is all encompassing, and knowledge of the word of God will even teach a person how to pray right..
Because the word of God is more Powerful. Prayers without the word of God added to it will not be as powerful.
