I think our biological make up.
I am tempted to answer what makes us humans as opposed to animals and any other life forms found in the universe, but I don’t know if that’s the reason behind the question.
So what actually makes us human is our power of choice, our ability to make informed decisions as opposed to only living instinctively.
I believe what what us human is our flaws. The fact that we have been in existence in over 20 century and we can’t come up with universal solution to global crisis.
The fact that we think of self gain than universal development. The fact that our EQ keep decreasing each century.
What makes us Humans are our mistakes
To be human, the following are the inherent make-ups;
1. Capabilities of making personal decisions that may come out to be good or considered to be a mistake. Nobody is perfect as we are all prone to decision making errors.
2. Our being is made up of emotions. People can be loving, compassionate or even outright wicked depending on his/her “make-up”. Life experiences can make some people cry and break down while others can bottle the emotions up inside them without any outward signs.
The various shades of characters in this world are all human beings only that they have different emotional make-ups.
